Description
4-5 men in a black Renault car drive and run over three migrants from north Africa, injuring a Moroccan, Algerian and another man who were living in disused rain carriages at the old railway station in Corinth.
Photographer Alessandro Penso and journalist Andres Mourenza were talking with Nabi from Morocco and some of the other migrants he lives with in the abandoned train wagons in Corinth when a group of locals drove up and started accusing the migrants for having stolen from someone earlier in the day. They start hitting people, the migrants grabbed various objects to defend themselves and the locals got into their cars. Speeding into the group on migrants, one of the cars reversed hard and ran straight into Nabi who was run over, as two other migrants were grabbed and possibly kidnapped. They could not be reached on their phones throughout the day. Nabi was taken to the hospital.
