Description
In a letter of complaint it is reported that 35 Pakistanis who were arrested in police raid at their house on Agias Annis were subsequently robbed and tortured. The Pakistanis were held in a cage and then taken to the police station while police smashed the house and stole money and laptops. A delegation from the Pakistani community and KEERFA (United Movement Against Racism and the Fascist Threat) protested at the police station where the Pakistanis were detained, and found that they had not been given food or water or been allowed to use the toilet. Severe police interrogation methods had been used, such as stripping the detainees.
