Houses of immigrants robbed by police in area of Acharnon

Statement by local councilor Petros Constantinou in letter of complaint submitted to the police on 01/18/2012: "On Wednesday, 11th of January a house had its door broken down and was raided. Five police officers were involved in this business. In the house they began to break wardrobes while the tenants were told "we have keys to open them." The officers found boxes of cigarettes and €600 all of which they took. They also took credit cards and pin codes and shortly after withdrew €700 from an ATM. One person was wounded in the eye. This was the third time they had asked money in the last month."
