Police duty officer abuses at least 13 arrested migrants

Description

A man managed to get a complaint out about abuse taking place at the police station in Pireus. One particular duty officer regularly abused arrested migrants in the station. When the Pakistani Community Association and MPs went to the station, they demanded to see the victims. The officer in charge stated that more evidence was needed.

After much pressure the police station claimed that the duty officer had been laid off. Speculation that he might have been transferred to another station.
