Description
The Movement Against Racism and the Facist Threat (KEERFA) reported on 1/7/2013 that three migrants were tortured in the Athens airport after refusing to be deported. They were transferred to the airport from Amygdaleza detention centre in order to be deported, but after refusing they were taken to a room in the airport where they were tortured. Daud Ahmet who had been injured in Amygdaleza detention centre was beaten again in the airport several times while tazered a total of 9 times. Ivon Walid has bruises on his back while Wasi Haider reported that he was tazered in his genitalia. They were both wearing bloody clothes when seen. They were abused with racist words while a police officer requested to do sexual "favours" to the detainees.
